Subjunctive mood -
In addition to the previous message - this one is just perfect https://rttf.ru/tournaments/37908 . Don't be afraid of the number of people registered - it's nothing. The average participation is 40-50. You will definitely find a lot of sportsmen playing better and worse then you as well. And get your amatuer rating.

Correlation of our local 'RTTF'-rating to ratingcental.com is unknown. You just need to get the initial local rating by playing any tournament of any club in the left side list. This list is not less then 80% of all Moscow region tournaments. The rest are probably not interested in newcomers. I suggest to try 600+ or "ОТК" at first.
ответ на комментарий vbalobaevDear Christian, unfortunately there is no such club system in Moscow as in Austria or Germany. But there are a lot of places to play (with partner) and compete in amateur tournaments in Moscow. You will just need to take part in one "open" tournament (Открытый турнир) to find out your russian amateur rating and then you can participate in different tournamets (with rating limit or without) and find a sparring partner of equal level. A lot of people are looking for a sparring - the only problem is a place (not far for both) and time.
Best regards.
Thank you for the reply! This helps a lot (:

Hey, my name is Christian Ortner. i am currently in Moscow for one month and i will come back and move to Moscow in 2020 for a long time. I'm looking for a club where i can play and train regularly and compete in a league system or tournaments. I worked for the ITTF Marketing department and play table tennis for many years in Austria and United Arab Emirates.
Do you have a league system in Moscow for normal players? I'm not a bad player but not Pro League material ;) Or do you only have tournaments and you dont have club like european style?
I found some information online about some places where you can play but its usually "pay per hour" or bring your own friends and not a "real club".
My rating in Austria was 1400 (ratingscentral.com, Shibaev Alexander = 2890 rating) (but i am not "half good" as Shibaev :P )
Any help? :) Thanks! (i can speak a little bit russian and understand)
Sorry, this is Google Translate!
